Located in Scotland, St Andrews pretty much set the standard for modern day golfing (example, standard round of golf is 18 holes is copied from St Andrews). However, in modern times, golf is not all about &#8216;the sport&#8217; anymore. Creative marketing have let to a marriage between golfing and tourism. People do not travel to another country simply for sigh seeing only. Golfers travel around the world looking for the best golf clubs and have a few rounds at the most popular spot in the world. If I could afford it, i would definately do Golf and Travelling at the same time. Lucky for us, we have The Trifty Golfer.
